Galithin

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Galithin handles when you use our website and store, why we use it, who receives it, and the choices and rights you may have.

Who we are

Galithin is operated by AEVA COLLECTIVE FZCO, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this policy, “Galithin”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that company. We are responsible for the personal information we decide to collect and use in connection with our website and store.

This policy covers galithin.com, store.galithin.com, player and guild information displayed on the website, and related enquiries. Independent services, including Minecraft account providers, Discord, and PayNow, also have their own privacy policies.

Information we handle

  • Website requests. Our website, API, and infrastructure providers receive technical information when you use the service. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, request times, referring pages, and error information.
  • Player and guild information. Our game API supplies Minecraft usernames and UUIDs, ranks, levels, equipment, progression, gameplay statistics, guild membership, and activity timestamps for profiles and leaderboards. Avatars and skins are retrieved using Minecraft identifiers.
  • Store activity. When you use the store, we process your Minecraft username, basket and session identifier, selected products, currency, and any discount or gift-card codes you apply. Purchase records and delivery information are used to fulfil orders and handle support. The store may pass your IP address and country to PayNow for checkout and transaction security.
  • Checkout information. PayNow and its payment providers collect the contact, billing, and payment information requested during checkout. Payment card details are entered through their checkout, rather than through a form on our website.
  • Messages you send. If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your contact details, Discord account, Minecraft username, order reference, message, and attachments.

How and why we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • To deliver website content, player profiles, guild pages, and leaderboards.
  • To maintain store sessions, process baskets, and fulfil purchases.
  • To answer enquiries, investigate issues, and resolve purchase disputes.
  • To keep services secure, detect misuse, and diagnose technical failures.
  • To maintain records needed for accounting and applicable legal obligations.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity: performing a contract or taking steps you request before a purchase; meeting legal obligations; consent where required; or legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, where that basis is available and does not override your rights. You can withdraw consent for processing that relies on it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Public player information

Player profiles, guild pages, and leaderboards are publicly accessible. Other visitors can search for a player and view the information the website displays, including usernames, ranks, progression, equipment, guild membership, and gameplay statistics. Guild pages may also display member activity and contributions.

Public pages can be indexed by search engines or copied by others. If you believe information about you is inaccurate or should not be displayed, contact us to request a review. Removal from our services does not automatically remove copies held by independent websites or search engines.

Sharing and service providers

Information is made available to providers as needed to deliver the service, including website hosting and content delivery providers, Sanity for content management, PayNow for store and checkout services, and the communication service you use to contact us. Public profile information is shared with website visitors as described above.

Your browser also requests player images from Minecraft image services such as MC Heads. These services can receive your IP address, browser details, and the requested player identifier. Store images may be requested from MineSkin or other image providers.

PayNow processes checkout information under its own Privacy Policy. External websites and social platforms you visit through our links are responsible for their own processing. Review their policies before sharing information with them.

We may also disclose relevant information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims or protect people and our services.

Cookies and browser storage

The public website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. Editorial preview uses cookies for authorised editors. The separate store uses session and basket cookies and saves your display currency in local storage. Our Cookie Policy lists the storage names, purposes, durations, and browser controls. PayNow’s checkout may use additional technologies under its own policy.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the information and why it is needed. Technical records are kept for service operation, troubleshooting, and security; support records for handling enquiries and follow-up disputes; and purchase records for fulfilment, accounting, and legal requirements. Public player and guild data reflects records available from the game service and may remain available after a player stops visiting the website.

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for these purposes, including any applicable legal retention period, then delete it or make it anonymous. Browser-storage lifetimes are set out in the Cookie Policy; they do not determine how long related server records are kept. You can contact us about retention of a particular record.

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and risks involved. No online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending passwords, complete payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive information when contacting support.

International processing

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our providers may process information in other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws from where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we must use a permitted transfer mechanism and appropriate protections. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you and the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for access to your personal information and a copy of it.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion or restriction of certain processing.
  • Object to processing where the law permits, including processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Receive eligible information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Complain to the data protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.

These rights can be subject to exceptions, including legal obligations to keep records and the rights of others. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request relates to you. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain if a request cannot be fulfilled. Requests about information held independently by PayNow or another provider should also be directed to that provider.

Children’s information

Minecraft players may be under the age of majority. Parents and guardians should supervise use of the website, store, and community services, and follow the age requirements of Minecraft, Discord, and PayNow. Where consent is required for a child’s information, the applicable rules for parental authorisation must be followed. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child’s information or public profile, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We may revise this policy when our services or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact the Galithin team at support@galithin.com. Include your Minecraft username or order reference, if relevant, and enough information to explain your request. Do not send passwords, complete payment card details, or personal documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.
