Alchemist Shop

Visit the Alchemist at the Hub market for ordinary potions, reusable brewables, and additional drink effects. Purchases and upgrades use coins and the materials displayed in the menu.

Ordinary potions and dungeon healing:

Ordinary stock includes normal, longer-lasting, stronger, and splash variants. Read the bottle's effect before buying. Ordinary potions are blocked in dungeons; use a custom brewable for dungeon healing instead.

A brewable is a reusable drink with a limited charge counter. Drinking spends a use; dungeon mob kills provide recharge progress. The item's tooltip shows its current uses and any extra drink effect.

Brewable tiers:

The four reusable brewable tiers: Flask, Blend, Elixir, and Brew.

Tier

Player level

Healing and uses

Flask

0–15

4 HP per drink; 4 uses.

Blend

16–25

6 HP per drink; 4 uses.

Elixir

26–55

8 HP per drink; 4 uses.

Brew

56+

10 HP per drink; 5 uses.

Recharging: Flask requires 25 recharge points per use; the other three tiers require 20. Points come from eligible dungeon mob kills. Read the counter rather than assuming every kill restores an entire charge.

Drinking: the current drink duration is three seconds, with a five-second cooldown. Do not wait until a dangerous hit is already landing to start drinking. Healing values are HP: two HP equals one heart.

Buying and upgrading:

Buy a Flask directly. To upgrade, hold the previous tier in your main hand: Flask becomes Blend, Blend becomes Elixir, and Elixir becomes Brew. Meet the next tier's player-level requirement and supply the menu's coins and materials before confirming.

The costs rise with progression. Materials include Nether Wart, Glowstone Dust, Ghast Tears, Blaze Powder, and eventually Echo Shards. Use the actual offer for the required amounts and final price; upgrading a held brewable is different from buying an ordinary potion.

Extra drink effects:

Brewables can receive an additional effect when drunk. Available effect groups include absorption, cleansing, movement, mana effects, regeneration, and cooldown reduction. Each effect has its own requirements and material/coin cost.

Hold the brewable in your main hand, inspect the effect's description and resulting item, then confirm the upgrade. Some effects improve survival; others support a mana or movement build. Choose based on your abilities and talents, rather than assuming every effect is active continuously.

During a dungeon run:

On first entry, one carried brewable refills. After you use a particular brewable, the other brewables are locked for that run. Carrying several does not give an unlimited sequence of independent refills.

Manage charges, mob-kill recharge, and cooldown alongside your health. Potionkeeper can avoid consuming a charge when its chance succeeds; it is not a guaranteed free drink. For preparation and the dungeon healing rules, read Dungeons.
